Location
Fiskavaig is situated on the Minginish peninsula in the North-West of the island. The Skye Bridge is approximately 55 minutes away and there is no longer a toll-charge. Portree, the capital of the island, is 21 miles away.
Sligachan is an excellent centre for walking and can be reached in 15 minutes. The historic monument of Dunvegan Castle, which has been the residence of the chiefs of the Clan Macleod since the year 1200, is 25 miles away.
